Oh Philippines, You ARE Spectacular!

Instead of the regular shopping madness of the crazy Boxing Day sales, and the congested parking lots that go along with it, we decided to forgo the traditions and take a trip to paradise! Greeted in Bohol by a driver named “Handle” (aka. handle with care) we were dropped off at our beach hotel on Panglao Island. The sun was shining, there were blue skies and the sand was as soft and white as baby powder. Beers run for under a dollar, seafood and BBQ are a plenty, and we can’t help but count our blessings for the amazing life we lead.

Where would you most enjoy spending Boxing Day–in the malls or on the beach?
