Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and TripAdvisor recently published their top 25 romantic hotels for 2013.  We were certain before reading it that Alila Villas Uluwatu would make the cut, but it didn’t!

With an infinity pool to wow the crap out of you, the scent of lemongrass to refresh your soul, and the secluded villas with private pools, Alila truly is paradise on Earth.  Sure, it’ll cost you both an arm and a leg, but when it comes to romance, one can really spare no expense!

And, nothing says romance like your private butler sneaking into your villa to shower the place with rose pedals, fold a pair of loving swan towels, and lighting a path of candles poolside to your private cabana.

So Mr. TripAdvisor, we’re here to tell you that you’ve got it all wrong in your recent Love Day top 25.  While you set the bar high with hotels in Bora Bora, Ko Lanta, and Poipu, nothing says romance like a private cliff-top villa on the magical island of Bali!
